Theory & hygiene
Skin types and conditions, colour theory, product knowledge, and the hygiene and workplace standards the assessment expects you to demonstrate without prompting.
The practical
Looks to a brief
Day, evening, bridal and photographic looks executed to a set brief and within a set time — practised, corrected and repeated until the timing is comfortable.
The assessment
Portfolio & presentation
Building the portfolio you will present, preparing your professional kit, and rehearsing how you explain and defend the choices you make in front of an assessor.
